Sticking Vinyl to 040 Aluminum Painted

What is the best liquid or mix of soap / water? to apply a printed vinyl graphic with lamination onto a sheet of pre-painted white 040 gauge aluminum sheet metal? I have tried ActionTAC, but is very aggressive, any other suggestions, I am doing them by hand squeege, the panels are 4 ft x 6 ft

Big Squeegee works superb! Since making that video on their main page, I have purchased a laminator which handles large runs, but I still use the Big Squeegee for one-offs and smaller/shorter runs. It's quicker than unthreading the laminator! :thumb:

Until you get a BS, center hinge, and have someone hold the end while you firmly apply using a felt squeege.
No juice.

Without a large squegee I would say two person job like some of the others have suggested.

But on a side note. What do you mean when you say the ActionTac is too digressive. I have heard adhesive called aggressive but never an application fluid.

Or simply use an air egress media.

If you must use a non air egress vinyl then use rapid tac for application, flood coat both substrate and vinyl then squeegee appropriately.

A few drops of dawn per cup of tap water maybe.

Nein das ist verboten!

About 20 some years ago I ended up doing a job twice because of Dawn dish soap. Learned the hard way if you don't have the proper products to finish a job don't even start.

Lol. OK don't do that I guess.

There's a lot of app fluid out there what have others used with good results?

Thanks all. I ended up using baby shampoo with water. It was smooth squeeging. I flooded both sides of the vinyl which helped I think.
