Has anyone heard of this? Know anyone in the Toronto area who does it?

I do industrial sewing in the UK, and can tell you that any industrial machine will sew it. We have old Singer machines that will go through hardboard, even 1/8" plywood with no problem. 1/4" plywood slows them down a bit though.
