Stomp Shear & corplast?

has any one tried this? how easy is it to get the flutes open up after cutting?

we are looking for a CLEAN way to cut rigid substrates, tired of the shaving getting everywhere from the table / skill saw.
we need to cut 080 aluminum and 6mm Dibond so the fletcher is off the consideration table.

Thank you

I shear across the grain, been doing that for years. With the grain I use a coro knife.

Sheer or straight edge for cross grain. And my little plasticut corex knife for the flutes.

I have just come to expect corex getting filthy. Even in the shear if metal is cut in it it will still get your corex filthy.
A little soapy water and paper towels does the trick.

Stomp shear worked for years for us until we bought a guillotine cutter.

Great way to cut down coro.

It shouldn't close up the flutes much unless it's hot (like after running through a dryer). If it does, you probably need to have the blade sharpened.
