strange email

Has anyone else received one of these emails?

Does this sound like a scam?

Sounds like half the emails I get these days. Poorly written from a cell phone, with just about zero information. You try to respond but.....where do you start?

Looks put together by an automated form. And nobody named "Roy" makes those kinds of English mistakes. Spelling, yeah, and punctuation, but "Am Mr. Roy"? Phishing.

if it was an email and you reply you will be validating your email address and just get more of the same.

I don't think that they know that we all know each other. if you were a shop with no contact with any other shop, they might have a chance of scamming you. lucky for us, we all get these so it's out in the open. before the e-mails, we used to get TTY operators calling so a "deaf" customer could inqure about banners. they know that most won't hang up on a deaf person. what tipped it off for me was the "deaf" person couldn't tell me what the banners would say. most sell by the square foot, we don't so that saved us.

Ya get them all the time many even have names you know or even business names ya know.

Look at where it came from, & look at copy intro .. I have Gmail which really separates alot & you see intro & where from more.
