Lines appearing on prints, need HELP!

Hey everyone, im new to this forum and this is my first post. So, im hoping i can get some input on this problem i have.

I have a sp-540v and have been using it for a good 3 years. Ive had my share of problems, but mostly things i could fix or parts i can replace.

Yesterday i started a job for a customer and right off the back i got a 2 weird lines printing on the far right side of the media. I attached some pics of exactly what im talking about. If anyone has ran through this problem, please help. I get a red and a blue line that prints all the way through the job. I think it might just be a part that went bad, but im not certain. Any advice?

The 1st pic looks like an alignment issue and or overspray with the magenta head. The 2nd pic is caused by a dirty encoder scale or encoder reader, clean both with rubbing alcohol and the that problem should go away.

+1 for encoder scale / sensor (reader) - pic 2

Would be interested in seeing the nozzle test pattern on this one too.

I would guess this unit needs a good going through to dial in all adjustments as well... bias, vertical, horizontal, bi-di

Thank you for the help, I'll try cleaning the encoder scale & reader and see what I get.
