Strange small cut before plotting starts

As soon as i hit sent the pen or the blade will drop and make a small cut about an 1/8 inch long . Just a straight line same spot every time. . I have attached a pic of it next to the bottom of the H with a marker so you can see it. The image is just a green marker to show the small line better without having to see it on the vinyl. It is in the same spot every time. Its always exactly where you set the plotter origin location. it is the small mark at the bottom right side of the H. The other stuff is me just messing around. There are no stray points or lines and it can even be just simple text or a circle or anything. Its not that big of a deal when cutting vinyl but i do some larger drawings and marker fill plotting for different designs and it make a mark and looks bad
Using flexi pro 8.6 v2
Us cutter Sc series.
Usb connection.

there is likely a line there. Very small faint. a slight wobble on the mouse can create one and you will not see it.

Does it on every file. Exact same spot i have hundreds of designs and it makes the mark. I can make a simple circle or make simple text like my name and still does it. Id gladly send the file to someone to see if it does it on theirs.

what program are you doing your layouts in? YOU PUT THOSE ON THE PAGE..........sometime, and never deleted them. open your workspace page, make a box all the way round the area this line appears in.....THEN HIT DELETE....... do this a couple of times. you may have put these there, they have no color, but the line goes to plotter/printer evey time you hit print/plot.

It does not matter if i simply make a text file in flexi or i create it in illustrator, or coreldraw. No matter where the file comes from or how it is used in flexi the line is the first thing it does. It can even be a already made vector downloaded from internet.

then its in the PLOTTER/PRINTER QUE........shut down, unplug, let set for a few days....reboot, set all setting to DEFAULT..... and then make your personel adjustments from there............

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that you've somehow turned on an automatic knife "initialize" function either on the plotter itself, or in the software. You can further verify that notion by watching the direction it goes when it makes this little cut. If I had to guess, I'd say that the little cut always goes in the same direction it does when it cuts into its first letter or graphic.

On my Gerber GS15 Plus, there is a dedicated button that does a similar little cut that gets the drag knife correctly oriented into position before it does any further cutting.

This is obviously a software / plotter issue, and there is nothing wrong with your vectors.
