thats the sweet thing, you dont have to run it perfect.
run it as straight as you can. then put the black on it. after you cut that then lay the red, with the red you can cover up small imperfections of the black.
i would normally overlap the red and the black a little anyways.
the black is your background and the red is your nice clean edge

Hi Creative... If you order a kit be sure and ask questions about the product they offer. We had a customer ask us if we'd put a kit on her son's Chevy Cruze and we agreed. I don't remember the origin of the kit, but it came in pieces... some were little pieces. The stripe started at the front bumper cover and across the hood. The rear stripe started at the bottom of the bumper cover and across the trunk. Did I say little pieces... already cut to size. We had to improvise on the rear. Surprisingly some of the pieces were not perfect.
