stroke colours

I use Flexi and I am not sure how to set a colour value for stroke information. My concern is the colour black. Most files come in with 100%k only and I want to change it to a rich black. I have no problems doing it with a solid shape but the stroke tool only seems to allow me to choose a colour off of the pallets I have loaded. Is there a way to actually control the cmyk / lab / rgb of a stroke the same way you can with a solid fill? I can't seem to find it anywhere?

make the color in your solid and add it to the pallet.

Yes that will work, but just out of curiosity, how can you tell the properties of a stroke? ie colour breakdown?
