Stuck on this

Creating 2 simple logos for a youth alcohol prevention group. They have 2 names which their committee has determined, "Truth is..." and "Tss" or "Teens Standing Strong".

I am at a standstill for these as the director wants something simple like the CAD logo i have also included that we have used a lot in the past year.

Thoughts? Ideas? I just do not see anything here I am liking so far. Maybe I am looking at this all wrong.

I like think's idea but if you go with the design on red, fix that letter "i" is is as it doesn't look like it belongs with the "s", looks like two fonts as the "i" is raggy and the "s" isn't
