Summa cutter

Hi all! I have a Summa S2 T140, that I use exclusively to cut stickers printed on a Roland VG540, software is Summa Winplot V. 11.8. Up until our Christmas break everything was working fine and cutting properly. The only thing that's changed, is the operator. We lost our art/sticker guy, and now we as owners have taken over those responsibilities. We got some good lessons in from our employee before he left, and for the most part it's going well, just a bit of a learning curve.

The issue we're having is that we'll feed in the stickers, it reads the registration marks, cuts everything perfectly, but when it goes to do the final cutting the full sheet of, it cuts right through the last row of stickers. I hope I'm explaining this okay, I'm attaching a picture as well!

Thanks for any help you guys can offer!

Hi Helana,

There is a setting on the Summa cutter itself to control the distance after the final vector of the design is cut to perform the "Cut-Off" function.

On your Summa Cutter go to: Settings-->More-->General-->Cut off Margin

The Cut off margin setting sets the distance from the end of the job to where the Cut Off will occur. Check what the distance is set to and adjust from there!

All the best,
