Summa D120RL Pinch Rollers Not Found

Hello all, Hopefully someone here can point me in the right direction. I have been a year off and on trying to resolve this issue. Countless phone calls and emails to anyone affiliated with Summa and no luck yet.
I have the "turn plotter off pinch rollers not found" error message. in hundreds of attempts it recognized the pinch rollers maybe 5 times.
I would gladly pay someone to fix it if anyone knows of a service location remotely close to southern Ohio.

Sometimes this happens when the OPOS-Sensor is snapped out of its correct position, or the OPOS holder is damaged and will not set the sensor reliably in place. Check if the OPOS Sensor is in place and can´t be moved (apply not too much power).

I will do some internet searching to try and identify this part and look into it. this makes some sense as a possible problem rather than the pinch roller sensor because upon start up, the head never moves from the home position (which it would need to in order to read the pinch rollers) before getting the error code.

I inspected the OPOS sensor and it appears to be as it should at east mechanically.
