Rant Summa GoProduce or Onyx Cutserver adding thousands of nodes??

Are you guys using an old version of onyx maybe? I don't use the router function, but all the stuff I send for knife cutting is fine.

Not a fix... But might be a work around? Have you tried adding a reduce nodes action in your action set to see if it reduces them? Takes about 5 seconds for go produce to clean up the file, but I imagine if it works it'd save you a heck of a lot of time in cutting all those nodes.
Thanks, we are on Onyx 22, not the latest but not too old either. We tried reducing nodes and it removes a lot of them but still leaves dozens, not close to what the original file looks like in Go Produce. We reached out to Onyx and are waiting to hear back.

Im betting 24 would fix it too. I find it dumb that they support something.... But it has a shitload of bugs and makes it non usable, then they come out with the bug fixes in the next version and tell you to pay $1500 to upgrade...

Same thing happened to me with my graphtec... Game breaking bug, they knew about it for over a year.... It got fixed in the newest version, got an email from my 1.5 year old support ticket saying they're happy to announce the bug is fixed in the new version.. and they told me to buy the new version as they won't be patching the older version of onyx.

Our f1612 summa... Cant do barcodes on the flatbed because the barcodes go on the top and bottom.... Which is the 96" side. Newer version of onyx has an option for barcodes on the side... But our flatbed / summa onyx isn't onyx 24.... So we'd have to pay $1500 for that little feature as well.

They emailed me for my second version of onyx saying my advantage plan is up and want me to renew for $1500.... The version I paid for to fix the graphtec bug.Told them I'm done with the $1500 a year payment to fix little things, and my yearly payment will be going towards caldera or another rip that has better support. Haven't heard back yet!

Onyx go is almost as cheap as the advantage plan is now, and it has more rips and it's very cheap to add more printers and rips.... I feel like they're intentionally screwing over perpetual license people to push them towards onyx go.

Sorry, mini rant! But I find it ridiculous you have to upgrade and spend more money on software you've already paid for just to get it to work the way it should.

At least upgrading is working for you, every time I upgrade I just find new issues and I am seriously considering rolling back to 18 until 25 comes out (I have 18, 22.5, and 24).
