Summa S2T - die cutting with a drag knife

I have been successfully "die" cutting stickers with the tangential knife on my Summa S2T140. Unfortunately, the plastic top of the tangential tool holder came off and I need to switch to the drag knife until a replacement tangiental holder arrives. Can I diecut simple shapes like circles with the drag knife?

The drag knife should be able to cut any shape as that is the type of knife that pretty much all plotters use these days. I have the same plotter and have to say the tangenital blade does a fine job and small detail work that a drag knife could never do properly.

In menu on plotter you have to set it to Drag Knife

Should be fine. I do a lot of "die cut" stickers on my D140 with the drag knife.

Thanks. I had to play with the pressure from what I was setting for the tangential tool, but got good "die" cuts.
