Does anyone have any pluses or minuses on the Summajet model 1330 "E" size color plotter.Someone has one for sale in "working order" but I know very little about them.

Hi Proto,
SummaJet goes back to early days of wide format inkjet. Way back. The printer is mostly an engineering (illustrations) printer and the inks are indoor on paper or coated media.
If it's free and you have time to see what you can get out of it, I'd say go for it. Otherwise, there are a bazzilion better choices in the used market, for sign-making (ecosol)

Yeah; unless there's $250 worth of media :^) Maybe talk the seller down to half that. But it's appraoching a "if you get it out of here it's yours" piece of equipment. IMHO
