Swanson Backer on Crezon board

I am making a post panel sign using White pre finished Crezon one side. The other side has a Swanson Backer paper. My question is should I prime and paint this side or is the Swanson Back exterior ready as is? Asking because I normally buy the two sided White pre finished product. Thank you in advance!

I ended up calling the company and they said the backing paper is a moisture barrier to protect it from bowing. And it’s not paintable
