Syringe and VJ1304

How do you hook a syringe up to the waste tubes on the valuejet? There are two lines and I remember reading on here about where to hook it up at but I searched and can't find the thread I was thinking of. Any help is much appreciated!

You can use a Tee, or clamp one off.

Hemostat works great.

What the third tube for that goes back to a little valve on the maintenance station? Seems like when I try to pull vaccum it's pulling air through that valve.

That valve should be sealed when the printhead is in the home position to create the seal between the printhead and the cap unit. The valve opens when the printhead moves a bit to the left during the last stage of the cleaning cycle so the pump can suck any excess ink left on the cap unit.
