System Error 32

I am receiving the followign error when attempting to "home" my Gerber enVision:

System Error:32
X Axis Home Error

However, the machine is still (for now?) cutting just fine, just not wanting to go home...?

What happens when you first turn it on? Does it do the normal homing then?

it does, but gets the homing error before completing homing.

I've never had that one happen to me. Things to look for ...

• Dust buildup on a sensor
• Anything such as a need for lubrication or a bind inhibiting movement of the x-axis
• The dreaded electronic failure

Try cleaning the X axis opto sensor. It is located to the right of the drum.

if thats not it you'll have to cal Gerber Service.

I really sprayed the dust out of it with compressed air canisters & it seemed to do the trick. Couldn't see the sensor mentioned, but must have cleaned it off, as it's back to being happy now! Thanks guys! :U Rock:
