According to Jay, he wanted to retire or leave NBC, but his contract will not allow it.

So they (NBC) won't let Leno out of his contract but they WILL break Conans contract? Seems hipociritcal...what a mess

CoCo I will boycot NBC late night when he is taken off. It's the point (I like them both) don't give him a show and then give it back to Jay in seven months. I don't like Letterman but it's the same thing they did to him. So I hope nobody watches after CoCo is gone. Would serve them right.

They both actually are getting a raw deal. Leno wanted to go his own way too but they would not let him.

I feel they are both at the mercy of the execs.

I prefer Letterman but would take Leno over Conan
