Temporary coverage

Greetings, I have an upcoming event that will require existing vinyl decals on windows to be temporarily re-branded for the events new sponsors. What would be some acceptable options for coverage without damaging the existing vinyl?

Many vinyl options have a removable variety. Are you looking for translucent, or block out. When you say temporary... Weekend, or a few weeks?

Block out, for at least one week.

I use IJ36 for most temporary. If block out is needed, IJ46 has a grey adhesive for a blocker layer.

I would say, if you're trying to block out, a white static cling wouldn't be the right fit, as you'd be able to see under it unless you put a dark background on it. You'd more want a super low tack adhesive.

As long as it's not a perforated vinyl wrap on the window, Glass Apeel would probably be a good material to print on.

You might look into General Formulations 223 for this. Very easy to remove.

Any thoughts on Phototex PET Blackout, 6 mil ?

3M 3552 would be a good but expensive choice if you could get it...
