Thanks for selling me your extra oracal material!

I had wanted to try this for a while, but that money saving opportunity made the decision a little easier...

Anyway, after I finally arranged shipping a few weeks back, I jumped right on it & got it done! ...took me a while to get a nice pic, but I've been getting nothing but compliments ever since:

Quit buggin' me
Truck looks nice Doug.
Perhaps some night classes in photography are in order now....
Have you had it on long enough to tell if maintaining the flat look is going to be an issue?

I love flat black, so nice! Great job! Did you have any before photos? I'm thinki'n of doing this too, on my Oldsmobile Alero. It's rental car silver, haha! I'm thinki'n maybe something crazy, like bright pink, purple?

Anyhow, nice job Doug!

lookin' good 'Isign' ;)... murdered out... personally I think you should add your logo or at least your company name and web address in charcoal or a complimenting color, subtly on the lower portion of your doors (below the band) on drivers and passenger side and on the tailgate. Regardless, It is a great look.

I just need to figure out some time for me and my daughter to come visit and throw the longoboards on top of that ride...I know you have to have some board racks (if they aren't on there already). And yes that back drop is great!

Hope you are doing great! dan

Looks great, I love matte black too. So much so, we did our shop van w/it.

A nice, small subtle color logo on the door might be nice, unless of course this is personal only. great job.

I don't know. I'm not feeling it. A matte black finish certainly looks phenomenal on an Aston Martin DB9 or perhaps a Cadillac CTS-V along with some clean, stylish wheels and tires. But on a work truck with steel wheels and a camper top... it looks a little too much like you couldn't afford a paint job and just stopped at the primer.

correction... took awhile to get a not so nice pic...
and "nothing but compliments" except for one criticism :omg:

(as for company branding, that's what this pic is really for... the is just prepping the canvas... I ain't even begun yet...)

(rims done in photoshop )

(before pics? yes.. they are one here from 5 years ago... will look later...)

glad to finally see it doug, looks great!

although, my preference for graphics on flat black is gloss black, as in the celtic raven on my son's car.

with a name like iSign and in keeping with your current avatar... might i suggest an iTruck.

Might I suggest some fuzzy dice and a bunch of those tree air fresheners, topped off with some new threads to sport the Huggy Bear look. Look out Paradise; there's a new pimp in town.

Lol kinda feel the same way, Im not real hip on the matte black cars out there. It looks ok on some cars but now everyone is doing it on every car and its played out I think.

sorry I didn't post any design for y'all to shred on...

picking a color is not exactly subject to professional opinion... ya guys gonna pick out my underwear next?

I love that expression "played out" ...it reeks of contrived fashion consciousness... make sure you guys check which way the wind blows if anyone asks you your favorite color of anything... wouldn't want to go with your gut... ya might be wrong :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Nicely done! I actually love a pickup in satin.

Satin isn't "played out" yet, the number of cars painted/wrapped with Satin at SEMA this year was off the charts...some good, some not so good. Satin color and gloss accents were really the big deal. What will eventually kill the craze is when people figure out how hard it is to care for the wraps/paint.

My satin car (but mines paint), 88 Saleen Mustang, my daily driver.
