Rant That being said

I dont understand why we need to add more words to the English language every year. For example many people use "that being said" in 2019 . "And so" in 1980 . "And" in 1960 . I prefer the quicker version to say the same thing .

"And so" is still in use. It's apparent you haven't talked to my Belgian in-laws.:D Proper pronunciation is: 'n' so.
