Ok I have the opertunity to buy either a versacamm sp540 that is a year old or a SOLJET PRO II SJ-645EX that I am unsure of the age but its roughlly 4 years old. The sp540 I know is good and does great prints I have seen it the SOLJET PRO II SJ-645EX I have not seen but the firm that has it told me that it is a repo and they have had a tech go through it and they will cover anything that needs to be replaced if I have a tech look at it upon purchase. The 2 printers are only $1,000 difference in price. What would you guys/gals recommend. I do all forms of graphics from small decals to full wraps.

4 years old is almost a complete generation behind the 1 year old one.....

Im not sure about the age of the soljet I will know tuesday. If the age is 3 years or newer what would be better the versacamm 54" or the soljet 64"?

The VP still has warranty left. Get it transfered over. It's got better print/cut. Less ink per square foot. The LC/LM on the soljet only effects gradients and makes them more gradual. But if you really need the extra 10". Just make sure you have a supplier with 64" media.

Exactly. Get the SP, for print and cut feature for the 1000 dollar difference, it may be worth it unless you have another large plotter to cut vinyl with, along with contour cutting.
