lol... thank you, i figured out if i copy a "d" and use the short keys crtl v, i can just paste it in when i need it either way i go, it's going to be a pain in the ass, i bring it my laptop home every night almost from work and work at home since i don't get much done having Ayden with me all day. A keyboard will just be another thing i need to haul with me and everything else, but i may consider it.

i'll try calling around tomorrow Ken to see if it can be fixed at a reasonable price.... depends on how much $$ they want to fix it. Might be better just to buy new if it's expensive. till then it's cut and paste!

Well, if its a thinkpad, I've got two keyboards layin' around here, they are incredibly easy to replace!

Oh yeah, also have a dead Dell Inspiron that has a good keyboard in it too. Even easier to replace than the thinkpad!
