Either my taste buds are shot (which is possible), but I always like their original fried chicken. Now when they tried to appeal to the health conscious, that was a big no-no. Those were bad (to me), but I do like their original recipe. My grandmother, who is 98, still loves their chicken.

They don't cook it like they used to .. now it is all moist, greasy and just "fatty". I remember as a kid in the 70's when we ate it it was moist on the inside, dry and crispy on the outside. I used to love the original recipe. Nothing good about it now (i laugh at their slogan).

Haven't eaten there in years ...

But if grandma likes it ... I would take her there also.

I remember stopping into the very 1st KFC franchisee ib the south part of Salt Lake City 52 years ago.

I was impressed that it was so good ... of course the Colonel was still alive then and was checking up on all the franchisees.

Now KFC is simply a branch of a corporate conglomorate ... and the chicken sucks! Haven't been in one for many years.
