I was driving down the interstate when an 18 wheeler was all over the road like crazy. Off the shoulder, swerving in other lanes... this went on for miles before I picked up the phone to call the police and report it. I described the truck as a "white Volvo with a Tyson chicken trailer".

Tonight in the hotel I'm on my phone and the first ad I see is a lease offer and a picture of a white volvo sedan.............

Yeaterday, I got a call that my electricity was gonna be shut off. I called the number and the guy answered properly, but I didn't give my account number or name. I said, you already have that...... you called me. He hung up. I called back and a different guy answered and he asked the same things and I told him the other guy hnug up on me. He asked my name, so I gave him a fake name and he said, I have your phone number, mr jose'. Yep, your electric will be turned off at 10 o'clock due to non-payment. I started to ask him a question and he hung up. I called the police and they said it sounds like a fraudulent caller, due to the fact, my electricity isn't even with the company that called. The cop said, I'll have some fun with this number you just gave me. I said, tell them you're mr jose'.

They call that confirmation bias - you start looking for signs of something and two of 10,000 random things you experience every day
will align every once in awhile.... Or could be Big Brother has it out for you...

It's well known that advertisers use your phone's microphone, even when your phone is locked or otherwise not in use, to send you targeted ads. You can test it for yourself by clearly mentioning something out of your ordinary and looking for the nearly guaranteed ads to pop up...
