I think I have figured out the scam.
They send a junk item and hope that the buyer will not sent it back or forget about it. They target buyers from western countries were return shipping to China is high and then they offer them partial refund to keep it or even if they return it the sellers doesn't loose anything. It's not like they paid for the printhead collected from the rubbish bin.

you have sent me used item, it does not work, non original and unsealed box. This is a joke! i do not want used replacement item that does not work!!!! did you find these items in the rubbish bin? they are not usable. I I DO NOT WANT USED ITEM which does not work! why do you waste customers time? Attached photos are for Amazon to remove you from the platform for trying to scam customers. Why you dont answer the question? why did you send used item?

The return was lodged the usual way to Amazon. The attached barcode was attached to the box. It was submitted at my local News Agent: Clemton Park newsagency Address: 208B William St, Earlwood NSW 2206 lodged on the 17th feb
