This ever happen.................... ??

Had a customer who we've done vehicles for in the past over the last 7 or 8 years. Furnished some signs and a few bronze plaques for them, also. They contacted us about lettering a new vehicle [new to them, but used] back in February and they needed the chassis rebuilt, engine work and a complete paint job. Radio work and equipment needed to be installed and our lettering was scheduled for last. Throughout this time, we've had some e-mails back and forth and discussions about sizing, possible changes and so forth. About 2 weeks ago, we got together to discuss last minute details and ironed them all out, except one thing. They had a window on the one side and wanted it completely covered up with vinyl the same color as the paint. It's a horrible yellow pee-green vehicle and there is no color close to it. If we digitally printed it, we still couldn't get the right vibrancy of that color. So they said, Okay, just put black over it. Was set up to do this Tuesday and today. I e-mailed them yesterday afternoon and asked where is the truck ?? 4 hours later, it came back..... We changed our mind.

Whadafug ?? You changed your mind......??

I sent back, what do you mean by that ?? Still no answer.

I didn't hafta buy or get anything as everything was stock materials, but I just don't get it. Price was Okayed over 3 months ago and cleared. Fonts, colors and everything has been hunky-dory. Can't figure this one out.


Any ideas.............

They probably shopped your price all over town for the last 3 months and found someone on Craigslist to do it on the cheap.

Maybe the big boss took one look at the finished paint job and had them burn the truck.....
