Those nasty masks

I don't know if there is a solution for this but every so often it pops up. I have a file to print and if I open it in Signlab 8 it comes in fine and I can treat it much like any other vectored file. When I send it out as an eps and try to import it into Flexi I get a an error code, probably because the original ai file had multiple masks. Now I am not sure how Signlab circumvents all the masks but Flexi 7 has issues. I tried sending the original eps file into Flexi but there are like multiple masks and each time I break them and delete them, some part of the file goes with it. I have now sent it out as a bitmap and I can print although it was never my intention to do it this way.

Any ideas on how to send from Signlab? or how can Flexi get rid of the masks, but leave the file intact?

not an option...

I basically turned everything into a bitmap and printed it that way. It has to be the worlds most insane logo and completely unreadable. I will post it

Flexi Help

Just downloaded your attached pdf and opened it in Flexi Cloud, it was perfect. Just FYI. So I'm not sure what the masking does in Flexi7. Can you send a screen shot?
Did you try to open the PDF you made in Flexi7?

It will open in Flexi, but you can't edit any part as it is basically masked...so trying to build a cut line is impossible until all masks are removed...and based on that design, you know there are countless masks. I guess I need to upgrade, but not going to at this point.

Adding cut line

I assume you are talking about contour cut lines. Did you know that you can DRAW them in, then select the final vector and in the ARRANGE menu choose CONTOURCUT>MAKE CONTOURCUT to convert the vector to a contourcut. Just use the digitizing pen to draw the lines you want. Nice part is you can edit that vector before you convert.
