becasue the "myth" is a muslim can not see the image of a naked woman he is not with.

It was really done as a temporary joke, since the birds were getting repainted anyways. they didnt last like that, they were gong through their new color changes from their original grey to desert.

I LOVE going to military aviation museums JUST for the nose art....too bad the PC society of today are all pusses to still allow... that was pride back then. I wanted to put nose art on my bird so damn bad.
