Tip on rolling double face sign?

Any tricks of the trade for rolling a double faced sign without getting and "edge type bump" around the bottom?
I usually raide the sign up with something and run a brush under the bottom edge after coating the top and side, but I never fails that I get a small run somewhere on the bottom side.

Sounds like you just aren't careful and want a short-cut to being messy.

Im just trying to figure out if there is a better way to paint a double faced sign then how im doing it. By raising it up, rolling one side and the edges. Letting it dry flipping it and rolling the other side.

I don't "roll" paint anymore only spray. Just make some "T" braces and srew into the end of the board. That way it will stand up on it's own. Then paint away. Rolling in so 1980's...LOL
