For installs, we use a side pouch.

I have an Avery tool belt and cant figure out how I operated without it. I can say it saves enormous amounts of time not having to walk back and forth finding different knives and stabilos

I have a pouch that has an exato, scissors, a 6" teflon squeegie, a 6" teflon squeegie with felt on it, a pencil, and a grease pencil. All my jeans are wonk in the pocket from it on that side, and from my tape on the other side.

I've bought a couple of those with a belt but always felt like a tourist with a fannypack.
the yellotools probelt just clips on the small pocket of your jeans!
very well thought of, also because you can close it when your done; all the favorite tools stacked in the right place so you don't have to look for them in your toolbox next time.
