Torn / Ripped Metal effect.

I have been looking for about the last 4 hours now, and cant really find anything descent. Looking for a plugin or photoshop brush? I need to make some torn metal effects for an airplane.

Your link didn't work for me but MPN's did. For that look you can do it a few different ways. I've done a similar thing before for an illustration where I took some card stock. Ripped it to get the desired hole and look I wanted. Then I lit the card stock to match my scene. Photographed it and brought it into photoshop. Turned out nice.

that would work for a hole in the plane, but i am after a 20ft tear about 3 of them on each side of plane.

It looks like it was. Play around with the drop shadows ( and other effects ) on different layers after using the brush you want.
