Traditional, hand carved, ribbon sternboard

Nothing real fancy here. Hand carved and gilded HDU, 2" thick on the ends, about 48" long. Latex paints.

I don't get a lot of call for these...once every couple of years.

If there is an interest for a step x step, I took plenty of pics.

Wonderful piece Joe! Reminds me of an old carved sign I did twenty five years ago for a fire department! Ribbons are fun...
