Translucent Vinyl Splicing

I'm trying to figure out the best way to do my pole sign. I'm probably going to have to splice it unless I send the job out to someone with a bigger printer. The sign is about 54" tall and I can only print 52". So, should I try to hide the splice in the middle of the text (what an old employee suggested) or would it be hidden better at the bottom/top where it's just solid blue? It's going to be backlit so I'm worried about the overlap showing too much.

Hmm not sure why I didn't think to flip the colors like that for the phone number. That's a good idea and probably what I'll go ahead and do. Thanks guys.
