I would think that is the answer- Graphixshoppe does a *lot* of Edge printing

I print the ghost black graphics on both my Edge and my L25500. Judging by the picture that was posted, I'm leaning towards a solvent/latex print of gold over 3M black reflective. That combination would give that "blotchy" look.
