Have you seen it lately? It's lower then before Covid.

Ugh!! I spent a couple grand on treated lumber to get my front deck done earlier this summer. Oh well. Was on a mission to stick to my timelines.

Here's to all the folks in their new homes that instead of waiting paid $50,000 more for lumber and are now "upside down".

Builders are not dropping prices and values are still up.

I'm having a house built and signed back in December... we've got $100k in equity already and the house isn't even finished.

Violet was your cashier at Home Depot.
Why don’t you have a Home Depot credit card instead of Visa, you must like the cash back.

I like making signs
I just checked the Menards website, looks like the price went down there also. Great news, maybe I can still build that pergola I wanted in Spring!

Something, something Dark Side
My guess, and I'm not an economist, is that we are finally reaching the point of production we were at pre-pandemic. So now that the supply is way up again, prices should definitely drop. I just hope that is going to be the case for more than just treated wood. Hopefully the rest of materials we all use to fabricate signs will go down as well.

I sure hope we'll be so lucky! 3M price increases combined with 1+ month lead times = PITA

Twisted that auger adapter Moze was showing off right in half on some packed clay.

Ugh, that sucks. I bought three, so I'd have a couple of spares, in case that happened. That being said, I've put the first one through quite a bit and it's held up fine.

What drill are you using?
