Triangle MLD - "Hot-Swappable"?

Hi All,

Quick question -- does anyone know if Triangle MLD inks (not the new EDX formula) are hot-swappable with Roland Eco-Sol MAX inks? In other words, no flush required, just plug and play?

I was told that this is the case by a former supplier, but I have had real problems with the Triangle ink since then, so now I'm switching back to OEM. I just want to know if I should be flushing the ink circuit before I do...

Thanks in advance.

no way! in a perfect word you would flush the lines with roland flush, then flush with Triangle flush, then pump in the ink.

save yourself some heartache and try solaris. I'm curious how Triangle bio performs.

Oh, that makes me furious! Here's the *exact quote* from my rep at JSI Sign:

"With inks being chemically compatible no flush is required and can be mixed and matched. Orders placed today shipped today freight free, no minimum order. When ordering please specify “MLD” or Triangle inks for Roland printers."

So, this is a bold-faced lie? I made my decision to try these inks based on this information, and I've had nothing but problems since doing so.

Thanks for the info.
