Trouble with Flexi8.5 communicating with Mimaki

Does anyone have any tips on getting a mimaki cg-fx cutter to work properly with Flex 8.5. Do I need to download any drivers from Flexi cause the install mimaki disc request adobe ill or corel. Any help would be appreciated. I have the original install disc and its hooked to the correct port.

Yes we set it up there. No one is picking the phone up at flexi and Im not sure if I need any type of download or extra drive to make them communicate.

The fine cut workflow to me is much simpler. I think flexi's print cut procedure is kind of ponderous. IMO finecut is the reason to use a Mimaki cutter.

read one of OS101king's F*#K flexi posts, or flexi sucks... or whatever it was called... and an SAi tech who posts here a lot offered a dl that was good to have for 8.5 users
