Troubleshooting Advice Needed

We have a Roland XC 540. Originally, the magenta & black would not print out. We replaced the cap tops (all six) & then performed a test print. The black is printing but the magenta will not print at all (on the test print). Does anyone have any troubleshooting ideas of what we might look at next? Thanks a bunch.

If it doesnt print at all it sounds like a headboard fuse for that color has popped.
You can swap the head cables and find out the easiest way.

Just change the magenta with the cyan and if the cyan quits printing and the magenta prints you know thats the problem. Make sure to keep the cables in the correct order. Left cable in the left side and the same for the right. You have to move both cables on each head.
