True Type Fonts

Hi all,

I have been sent a TTF by a client which I can install on my mac but not on my pc anyone got any ideas

Yes it says "invalid font file" but works perfectly on my mac. I have passed it back to the client (not replied yet) but wanted to get going on the job

Put the fonts as outlines in the Mac save it as a .pdf and open it on the PC.

I have 200 different names to type out so that would take too long mate

Not sure but I think you need to find the PC version of your mac font. What is the name of the font?
Quick google search shows pc's not being able to use Mac ttf's but most of the hits are old. I'd guess Windows should have addressed this by now.

Thanks everyone problem sorted. The client sent new font through that works on both not sure why the original wouldn't work on the pc it's the first time I have come across this.
