I'm trying to match a print onto Avery etchmark that was done by another company that has gone out of business. Ive got pc's from the company that had been messed up and it looks like they've printed a light gray (or a white - hard to tell) then the PMS warm gray 1/3/5u on top. I'm trying to replicate this on a seiko colorpainter w 64s w/ onyx x10.2 postershop. I can get a light gray to print then line up the printer back as close as possible to print over top, but i just cant get the opaque from the gray to match what was existing.
So far i've bumped up the heaters and running with a high smart pass, uni-directional on a normal print mode with a high density. I just can't get the same (or even close) opaque level as the existing.
I'm hoping someone will have an idea on how i can achieve this!
Thanks in advance!
