Let the customer mail it back to them and buy it direct. You may want to install it for them. You need to go see a few brands and have then open it up and explain the technology. You are looking for silicone coated circuit boards, wet connection proof cables(like whatbis under your engine) No fans on power supplies(unless you are in the desert), prts availability for 5-7yrs guarenteed, 3-5 year parts warranty, pay attention to how they measure pixel size some are tricky, ability to control NIT value on timer or photocell, IP rating on cabinet. Thats is the main areas you need to become familiar with is the EMC market.
