Type of Substrate To Use

I have a customer who needs a 4x8 double sided basic sign with vinyl and printed logos. He is getting a metal frame welded so it should be protected on all sides, it will have a 1/2" lip/track for the sign insert. He is very worried about any rotting and doesnt want to be replacing it. He likes the thoughts of alupanel but would need 2 sheets with a centre insert for stability, so I suggested the 1/2" Nualum but it has the wood inbetween but the thickness to be solid. I just came across Alumacor 10mm with hicore inbetween. Any thoughts? He also wants to use the same product to put tracks on both side for changeable letters. Thanks in advance.

We would use 10mm Alumalite for that.
We also rivet letter track on that type of panel all the time, just have to be careful not to drill through to the other side.

.063 aluminum. BUT he must not be too picky because that steel frame (if thats the metal you are referring to) will look horrible within a year
