As stated upteen times in the past, I use FontExpert 3.0. It has a database of comparison images from about 25,000 fonts and also has a "database generator" which allows the user to add their own fonts into the mix. I have added in my own archives.

What made this especially easy is that Scott supplied an image of sufficient size that I could just open it in FontExpert, click on a few distinctive characters with a magic wand selection tool, and initiate a search. The search took about 10 seconds and returned a very short list of fonts possibilities ranked in order of certainty. Clicking on each name results in a small screen display of the entire font for verification.
