Here's an odd one.

I used to be able to get any size tyvek sewn and hemmed banners from just about anywhere. Now, I just called three places and no one is doing it or has any idea where to get them. Has this practice fallen off the face of the earth ??

Any idea would be appreciated.

I think so, I haven't seen Tyvek in years, use to screen print rolls of it.

We just sold a huge roll to a friend that we have had sitting here for 10+ years. Haven't had a request for tyvek in years.

I think polypropylene has taken its place as its much more affordable and almost as durable

I just tell anyone that wants tyvek that poly is the new tyvek

Not sewn. We can use banner/hem tape, but that won't hold under the conditions these will be exposed to.

At this point, it seems senseless to waste anymore time. It's just not possible and with this guy's limited budget..... I'm just going to offer regular banners or poly and let it go at that.

A number of years back our banner blank provider told us that the cost for 10oz vinyl was nearly as low as tyvek so they stopped bothering with it.
