Unknown serial number

Hello everyone, due to a quick finger movement error... I changed the serial number of my Roland VS640.
I don't have the same one and since I didn't know which was the original, I didn't turn off the equipment and I didn't do anything else.
Can this affect anything? I turned it off and on. I only changed the number and pressed enter.

Since it is out of warranty, nothing will happen.
The serial number is also on a sticker on the printer, or in the Peck file, if you ever saved one. You can also see the old number in Versaworks, when you disconnect the printer and start Versaworks and doubleclick on the printer.

thanks. the label is erased, someone cleaned it with solvent.... I never created a peck file, how do I have a backup in case something happens?

Maybe the dealer, that originally sold it, has a Peck file. (I always pull a Peck file, when I install or service a printer) Or Roland can tell you, if the printer was registered.
