What everyone's thoughts on a UPS, uninterrupted power supply, if you have one, how many watts and how long will it run your printer? What happens if the power goes out while printing? What do you do?

Usually gives you enough time to stop print and shut down.

That's really what they are meant to do. Just be able to let you stop and shutdown safely.

We have every electronic device in our building on a UPS of some sort. We get some pretty wild voltage fluctuations throughout the day.
Our Roland VS runs off a 2750VA unit, which gives ~10-15 minutes run time in a complete outage with the heaters on maximum.

Same here. All our equipment has a UPS. Those that don't, are surge protected.

The UPS is nice because it smooths out the power going to the machines.

Cost of the UPS is minimal compared to the cost to repair.
