USB to TV?

Have a client that is interested in putting slides on a tv through usb.
Creating an advert for clients that walk in.

What programs are you using to do this?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Your best bet is to make a video of the pictures & ads put that on the usb stick and then put that into the tv. I believe iphoto does this easily.

You need a little piece of hardware, the Raspberry Pi (it's about $35 approx) and a wifi connection. It hooks to any television or monitor with an HDMI cable. Then with screenly you log in and upload custom videos, images, websites etc to your account, and tell it what screen (tv) to push the data too. It works well!

chromecast is the best $35 I have ever spent. Not sure if/how to show photos through it though.

Dehumanize your friends and netflix are the only things we use it for.

What about an HDMI cable to run from a computer?
