usb tot paralell troubles.

hi all,

after buying a new pc i discovered there isnt a paralell port anymore on it.
i use an old stika sx 8 (the old beige one, not the blue), wich is paralell only.
so i bought an paralell to usb interface.

installling the interface was flawless, but after connecting, no found stika ??

any solutions or drivers available anywhere, anyone ??

help !! :help:

go to Roland's site and download the latest drivers for the Stika. When you do the install of the driver, you'll have a dropdown menu of SX-8/12/15. Select your device. Next you will have a choice of ports through which the device will be connected. Select your USB port from your ports dropdown menu. It should install your stika just fine. I currently run my Stika 15 on a serial to usb conversion cable and installed the driver on my USB001 port. The cutter runs perfectly.
