used Jeti Mira 2716 HS what it worth?

A friend of mine have a four years old Jeti Mira 2716 HS with two rows of print heads (6 colors+white+primer) and roll-to-roll. He said the machine is ''too much'' for him. Honestly, it's too much for me either. I was looking for something more in the entry level and it will be my first flatbed printer.

• Does the printer is ''too old'' compared to the current technology available?
• If I buy it, I would like to use it at least for the next 4-5 years.
• The printer is currently under service contract.
• He's asking 200k$CND for it (we are located in Canada). From my understanding, it's a 400k$CND printer brand new.

Any input would be appreciated.

there is a 2016 7 color Mira on the Global Garage for 55K...... call MIke ALtrueter there and ask him, he has a finger directly on the resell market specifically for wide and grand format used equipment. and he is 100% trustworthy.
